Teaching methods and strategies

Pedagogy

This is a list of blogs about teaching methods and strategies. I also share some online teaching resources for educators to utilize in their classrooms. Through blogging about teaching, I can help fellow educators and even those who want to be future educators become effective teachers. They say that you won’t get rich by being a teacher. Yes, that’s true! However, the impact that you could make in every student’s life is irreplaceable, which is more than money can buy. My passion to make a difference leads me to teach students. The school is where I pour my laborious effort into motivating students to learn.

About me as a teacher

I have worked at Japanese elementary and junior high schools. Moreover, I have learned a lot working with Japanese teachers. As an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for a decade and an IB educator, I have learned how Japanese learn a second language. Moreover, I have even created my own teaching methods and strategies. It is always a challenge for me to teach because learners have different learning styles. Above all, through teaching, I am also learning.
